"Whenever you can, share. You never know who all will be able to see far away standing upon your shoulders!"
I write mainly on topics related to science and technology.
Sometimes, I create tools and animation.

Click the buttons below to have a look at some of the interesting things I've done in the field of IT and programming.
This is a copy of my Github landing page.
It contains links to some of the tools, reference guides, code snippets and musings that I've authored and shared with others.
I'm manisar (manisar2 on Github).
While coding is both my hobby and occupation, I find great interest in physics, calculus, genetics, microbiology and behavioral psychology as well.
You can find me on the following platforms sharing bits and pieces of knowledge and tools.
Among these, randompearls.com is where I've contributed the most because of its great flexibility and control over presentation.
I'm currently into Python and machine learning.
Find below some of the code snippets, tools, reference guides and musings authored by me.
Blender, manim, desmos, dot and Voicemeeter are the tools I've primarily used for animation.
At Guardant Health, I orchestrated and pipelined complex data-analysis and manipulation tasks involved in the tumor-boarding process, which resulted in a well-received product (by bioinformatics scientists) built from scratch.
The data consisted of patients' genetic markers obtained from their blood, and the product I had built provided automation of TumorBoarding and Report Generation processes.

Out of about half a dozen such projects that I've worked on, the ones mentioned below made me utilize my full coding potential and taught me a lot.
I am a Data Scientist and Data / Full Stack Engineer with over 14 years of experience in web development, data engineering, and DevOps. I have a passion for coding and learning new technologies, and I enjoy solving complex problems and creating innovative solutions.
I'm looking for a contracting or full-time position in Python with Data Science/Engineering, Machine Learning or full-stack development, where I can both code individually as well as get a chance to inculcate in my team some of the techniques and best practices I've learnt and perfected over time.
While coding is both my hobby and occupation, I find great interest in physics, calculus, genetics, microbiology and behavioral psychology as well.
I've undertaken these roles over the course of my career:

Mani is a highly skilled IT Professional who is a great asset to whomever he works for.
I have worked with Mani on many different projects spanning a period of over 5 Years at Canadian Pacific. In the first project I worked on with Mani he was a linux scripting specialist who was admired for his in-depth knowledge of linux and a strong ability to make different technologies work together seamlessly. I soon came to realize that in addition to these advanced scripting capabilities, he also had excellent communication and presentation skills.
As I got to know Mani more, and worked on many different projects with him, I discovered that his talents went well beyond linux scripting. In fact, he also served as the Technical Lead for the train operations dot Net team and was fully versed in dot Net Architecture, C#, Web interfaces, Network connectivity, Powershell scripts, SQL, and a wide range of other technologies.
Another attribute of Mani that I truly admire is his willingness to share his knowledge. If you just wanted something done and asked Mani to do it, he would get it done and properly document the solution. If, on the other hand, you wanted to understand how something works or wanted to learn how to do it yourself; Mani would also be willing to take the time to explain how it works, and to patiently teach you how to develop the solution yourself.
I highly recommend Mani; he is a top-notch, highly skilled and dedicated IT resource.

Mani has been given the task to lead the train ops .net development team as a team lead at the beginning of this year. In addition to the developer role, he has played the team lead role very well. He is an asset to the team. He has made sure that all PM tickets are allocated to developers, system design is reviewed and promptly promoted to production without any issues. He is always willing to take up new challenges and has also demonstrated his technical expertise by quickly developing a prototype for MEW project in iOS using swift. Would like him to gaining more experience as team lead and continue his amazing work.
- Project Manager (Canadian Pacific, 2018)
...I am not familiar with how we are PRO-actively monitoring for --- readers that may be down or having issues - others will have to speak on that. But I have certainly noticed improvements since last year with an increase in pro-active investigations into readers that have not sent in recent scans (or not getting the volume of scans ones would expect based on historical trends)...
Thanks Robert. The marked improvement is directly attributable to the monitoring Mani & Sakthi have put in place...
Indeed - Kudos to both of their efforts!
It has certainly been noticed.

Congratulations! By browsing this far, you have unlocked the philosophical cat!
This is the same cat that had kept haunting me while I was trying to explain "Who I am" on this page.
